Reach Us

To request for a consultation with a therapist at the Collective, we require you to fill up a brief assessment form.

You can fill up the form directly, HERE

Alternately, you may download the form HERE and send it in to us at,

psychotherapist.collective@gmail.com

Once we receive your form, we will get in touch with you in about 48 hours, two days time. In case you haven’t heard back from us for over a week, please assume that we have not received your email, and write to us again.

Sometimes, we may not have immediate scope to accommodate you for long term therapy work because all slots may be booked. This is especially so for certain times of the week such as weekday evenings and weekends. It can take up to a few months from the time of first contact for a matching slot to open up, if at all.

However, at all times, we are able to offer to meet for a one-time consultation sooner, usually within a couple of weeks. This consultation helps the therapist and patient understand the present difficulty and need for therapy better. It can be used to address any questions that you may have and for you to understand the therapy process. This consultation also works toward coming upon a treatment recommendation, that is, the kind of therapy that will be best suited, whether a psychiatric consult seems necessary, suggestions about referrals to other therapists if the need is urgent, and a realistic sense of whether and when one can be accommodated by a therapist at the Collective.

Please note that the therapist one meets for this one-time consultation may or may not be the therapist assigned for long term work in the future. It is important to note that even once a therapist has been allotted for regular long term work, it can still take up to three consultations to explore whether this would be the best therapist-patient fit in the interest of therapeutic work. Psychotherapy is a process that takes shape through the therapy relationship between the patient and therapist, and it is usually facilitative to allow both persons this initial period to sense and feel that there is considerable reason to proceed to working together, to the benefit of the patient’s concerns.

The consultation is strictly by a mutually decided appointment, usually set up a few days ahead of time.

Our office is in South Delhi. We share our full address once the appointment is confirmed.

Should you have any other questions about mental health services in general, we will try our best to help you. Feel free to write in to us at our email for this or for any other queries that you may have.
